"Amavi" - the name of my artwork, is more than just a painting to me. It is a tribute to my summers spent in Spain, where I have soaked up the sun and enjoyed the carefree nature of life. The healing power of water has always been my sanctuary, especially after enduring long, cold winters in Germany. Each year, my family and I would travel to Spain to reconnect with our roots and bask in the warm embrace of the Mediterranean Sea.

The resin relief, with its intricate pattern of sparkling waves, captures the fluidity and ever-changing nature of the water, making each angle and perspective unique. It's almost as if the

water is alive. I realized that Amavi is more than just a painting - it is a representation of all that I loved about those summers. A feeling that maybe you know as well. I loved the way the water enveloped me, supporting me as I floated peacefully. I loved the feeling of freedom, the ability to let go and simply be in the moment. And most of all, I loved the connection I felt to my family and our time together in Spain.

So, Amavi is not just a name, but a statement of what I hold. It is a tribute to the summers of my life, to the feeling of weightlessness, and to the joy of being in the present moment.
